Where is the ARA 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting being held?

What is the dress code for the conference?

For all conference sessions and the Conference Dinner, the dress is business or smart casual.

Will there be WIFI?

Yes, Delegates have access to complimentary WIFI for the duration of the conference.

Will I get a Program Book?

The Conference Program will not be printed this year. But you will receive a copy of the IJRD Supplement with the Contributed Abstracts.  It will be able to be downloaded from the ARA 2026 website in due course.

Will I get a Name Badge?

Yes, you will receive a name badge this year and you can pick it up from the name badge kiosks when you arrive.

Where is the catering?

As a rule lunches and tea breaks will be in the Exhibition Hall with the Industry Displays in Hall 1.

What if I have a special dietary requirement?

All catering venues have been advised of any special diet preferences you have indicated on your registration form. Please identify yourself to the catering or registration desk staff to locate your meal.

Are presenters required to register for the congress?

Yes, as a presenter you are required to register and pay for the congress. Any presenters not registered for the congress by this deadline will not have their abstract included in the program or the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases (IJRD).

Will submissions be published?

Only successful abstract submissions where the presenter has registered and paid to attend the congress will be published in the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases (IJRD).

Will the sessions be recorded for later viewing?

No, we will not be recording the sessions this year..

Can I purchase tickets for the conference dinner?

Yes. If you advise us by Friday 1 May, you will be able to purchase dinner tickets with your registration.

The dinner will be held on Monday 18 May 2026 in Hall 4 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).

Tickets are $150 per person, which includes dinner and drinks. This is an additional cost for all delegates.

NB This function has limited industry attendance at Platinum, Gold, Silver + Bronze levels only.
